Miracles..

I don´t believe in miracles, or I do believe in that things happens for a reason. Or that "miracles" exist. Every day doctors see new, unexplainable things, patients which survives when they are sentenced for death, and wonders - how could this happen?¿ After a while, when those things becomes "real", after many years of studies and proof, they are not miracles anymore. I believe in the power of mind, the power of wanting to survive, and the power of feeling in hope or doubt.

This weekend has been really amazing workwise. I have met a lot of new, interesting people, all with their amazing stories. A lady for example, I thought her body wasn´t totally allright, though she moved and walked normally. As she laid down on the bed for the massage, she opened up and started to tell me that 5 years ago, she was in a bad caraccident. After one and a half month in coma, and the doctor telling her family that their mother most probably wasn´t going to come back to them, she woke up, totally destroyed and sentenced to, if she survived, to a life, with luck, in wheelchair. She told me she had to start her life from the beginning, learning to read, touch, talk and eat. Everything from start. She had the most difficult time, crying all the time, feeling no hope, but wanting to do everything possible to stay with her family.
One day the doctor said, you are going to make this, but you have to change your attitude, you have to see this happen and to think possitive. It was difficult, but she decided to do her best.
Things started to change, and after a year in hospital she started to slowly move and could finally walk again. Her doughter, who was also in the caraccident, luckily opened her seatbelt, and survived because of this, with a injured leg.

It was amazing to do the massage to this lady, filled with love and positive energy, how she enjoyed to tell her story, and how much she enjoyed to feel the massage, and how good it did to her. She and her story will always remain in my memory, and again - proved - that the attitude is everything!
